UMinho is licensed under Decree-Law 188/2009 of 12 August and Decree-Law 184/2012 of 8 August to operate an automated external defibrillation (AED) programme, with Dr Albino Agostinho Pedrosa Pedro, holder of professional licence no. 30404 issued by the Portuguese Medical Association, as the responsible physician.
